Are you tired of having to type your long CompuServe® OurWorld URL?
Does it not fit on your business card? Can your clients remember it?
Want a more professional looking domain name for your web pages?
CompuServe does not provide custom domain names for their free OurWorld
service and you can't just register a domain name and have it
automatically point to your free space within OurWorld. Every domain name
needs to have active domain name service (DNS) and a corresponding
numerical address. CompuServe does not provide either of these services
on OurWorld.
We can help. We provide the necessary services to map a domain name to
your OurWorld directory. Using the latest Internet technology, you can
have a short domain name and still use your free OurWorld web space. You
may register a custom domain name using your company or product name with
any of the Internet domain registries (we can help with this too, just
ask) or you can use a custom version of our "ourworld.nu"
domain.

We charge a nominal fee to cover our time and expenses:
Please note that a custom registered domain name (i.e. yourcompany.com)
usually requires an additional fee payable to a domain registry. There is
no additional fee to use a custom version of our "ourworld.nu"
domain.
The registration fee for a .biz, .com, .info, .net or .org domain
registered through DNS Central starts at $22 a year (compare to $35 a year
elsewhere) and discounts are available for multi-year registrations.
This fee includes all Internic fees.
How do I start my service?
If you don't have a domain name, the first step is to register a domain
name. If you would like a .biz, .com, .info, .net or .org domain please
select the first link below. If you would like a .nu domain, please
select the second link.
Next, sign up for the DNS Central Forwarding Service via the link
below. You would also select this link if you want to use a country code
domain or if your domain is already registered.
